We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the execution of a Workday Integrations, ensuring the delivery of a minimum viable product by Oct 2025. This role involves overseeing project milestones, collaborating with HR/FIN/Student and IT teams, and maintaining effective communication across stakeholders. The position is critical to aligning Workday functionality with organizational needs while ensuring a timely and efficient implementation process.

Workday Integration Engineer Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on large collections of Workday integrations
- Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday Integrations
- Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle
- Work with business stakeholders to determine problem areas and overall impact of projects
- Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders. Develop plans to move forward the overall Workday strategy.
- Partner with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on objectives and programs
- Help manage the timelines and deliverables within large, multi-month projects
- Understand data flows and system usage between internal systems and Workday, driving alignment with other system owners
- Drive an overall data strategy for people-related data and Workday’s place in it
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in Workday
- At least one full implementation of Workday, with demonstrated Workday technical and integrations experience
- 5+ years of experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors
- 5+ years’ experience developing Workday custom reports and calculated fields
- 5+ years' experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors
- Enthusiastic about solving complex, system-to-system integration problems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred Workday Partner or Pro Certifications.
- Familiarity with Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data loads, payroll configurations and maintenance
- Proven record of accomplishment of effectively interacting with large sets of internal and external stakeholders
